It is a mandatory requirement that differences training is carried out before flying an aircraft as pilot in command with any of the official differences. Training must be performed by an Instructor who has the 'difference' signed off themselves.
Flying tail wheel aircraft is one such difference, it involves a lot of different considerations to the usual tricycle undercarriage aircraft most students learn in.
Here at Horizon Flight Training, we provide professional training for differences such as 'taildragging', and formation flight. The training is carried out in our Auster and Chipmunk aircraft by our Team.
While you are with them, you could also ask about our Aerobatic experience flights!
